The Buzzards Bay National Estuary Program has made available $75,000 in grants for municipal stormwater management and wastewater engineering services. Eligible projects include:
1) Stormwater remediation designs for discharges affecting marine waters.
2) Implementation and construction of existing stormwater designs for discharges affecting marine waters.
3) Support for tasks to achieve Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) compliance.
4) Feasibility studies and conceptual plans to enhance nitrogen removal from municipal wastewater treatment facilities using innovative or unconventional approaches.
